Outing Frog Jumping Contest

Thursdays at  1 PM

 Contest Rules & Regulations

v    Contest open to all ages.

v    Registration begins at 12:45 and ends at 1:30 PM.

v    Contestants will compete in order – first to register, first to compete.

v    Racing fleets of 10 contestants will be formed.  They will race and prizes for that fleet will be given out at the end of each fleet race.

v    Frogs will be provided on site.   You must have a commercial frog license to catch frogs that are used for anything other than bait.

v    Each contestant may only enter the contest once.

v    To begin the event, the frog handler places your frog on the jumping pad and each contestant yells go.

v    After a frog is placed on the jumping pad the frog may not be touched to make it jump.

v    Each contestant may jump up and down, shout, blow or coax his or her frog to get it to jump.

v    Each frog will be scored by marking the distances of three consecutive jumps.

v    Judges with marking pins will mark the three jumps by placing a pin at each location where the frog lands.

v    Prizes for First, Second and Third place will be given out to the winners in each fleet of 10 for the longest total distance of all three jumps.
